- hosted the first ever Brooklyn Technical High School National Science Bowl Scrimmage (Invitational competition) 

- New York Science Bowl Regional quarter finalists 

- one of the highest attendance turnouts 

- rising in out-of-school relations such as representation in the National Science Bowl League of Captains and strengthening the relationship with Stuyvesant High School and Hunter High School College from joint team dinners to karaoke nights to park events
